Our Mission

American Bird Conservancy (ABC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to conserve native birds and their habitats througout the Americas. To help develop the reserve network, ABC identifies priority sites, provides technical and financial support to our partners to create a reserve, and invests long-term management and monitoring. Our goal is to expand the Bird Reserve Network to conserve all endangered bird species in the Americas, and for each reserve to attain operational excellence and long-term financial sustainability.
